In Person workshop

I’m happy to announce a new on-site, in person workshop for this summer! The proposed dates are June 27-30. After nearly a three-year gap, I will lead a group of students to four wonderful locations around Morro Bay and Los Osos, California, for on-site instruction. As usual, the classes will transpire over four afternoons at four different locations. I will do a different demonstration painting each day and subsequently will give each student individual attention and coaching. In a fight against inflation, the cost will be the same as in past years, four days of instruction for $390. See details and how to sign up on my workshop page on this website.

 Upcoming Exhibits

Things are gradually picking up, post Covid-19. I have been painting steadily for the past two years during Covid-19, but I have become very lazy about marketing, workshops, and exhibits. However, here are a few things I am involved with and coming up.

I am currently part of an exhibit with the California Art Club in Pasadena, CA at their gallery at the Old Mill. The exhibit is called A Walk Down Memory Lane. My entry is “Santa Fe Winter” in memory of the seven years I spent the winters in Santa Fe. Look at the exhibit here.

I will also be a part of another online exhibit with the California Art Club called the Beauty of the Story, which can also be seen on their website.

And, I will be participating in an in person exhibit at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden, March 25th -27th. There will be an opening reception Friday evening from 5 to 7, followed by Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5. I will be in attendance both days. I will be featuring mostly small format oils (11x14) at very reasonable prices. Learn more here.
